My kids have now been taught to not let the water run but it’s still aesthetically damaged. It’s a fairly new fridge. Tried painting over it but the damage goes further than the top layer. Need suggestions please.

water damage repair
repair the leak then when you paint sand it first and use a primer paint then the finish paint. rust is bad and spreads fast. there is really no way to stop it unless it is soaked in oil. sorry
water damage
I have no idea what you’re talking about. New refrigerators are plastic. Is the stuff just hardwater build up? CLR, or The Works should just wipe it off. Why paint plastic?
